Port Louis – Municipality viewed from Desforges Street – 1960s

This new building was erected somewhat in the early 1960s and replaced the previous one which was more of colonial style. At that time, the Desforges Street (now Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Street) was a two-way traffic street but now it is converted to a one-way street towards the Municipality.
