The East is well known for its very good weather though very windy at times. Poste Lafayette is located a few kilometers above Belle Mare, geographically speaking, and the beach at this spot isn’t the top of the top but is a good resting spot. The reefs are very close to the shore line hence the not-so-suitable swimming point but with the advent of new hotels in that region its popularity has been increasing. For local residents, it is one of the best spots for a ‘tranquil’ and peaceful relaxation place even though a bit rocky!
