Grand Bay being a very well considered coastal fishermen village in the North has known and is still knowing lots and lots of changes. From the early days till the late 1960s, the village could easily be compared to other similar villages but as from the early 1970s, development in all aspects has set Grand Bay to be an iconic tourist village, with shopping centers and malls opening nearly everywhere, together with its Sunset Boulevard, some can even say it is time for this village to be declared town by now, if not already considered so… The bay offers a very graphic view of small fishermen boats as well as sophisticated and well-equipped catamarans almost everywhere. Tourism and nightlife are the primary attributions of this area of the country. To be enjoyed without moderation!
